Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of StevenCodeCraft. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to them.

Your account

An account is personal to you. You're responsible for keeping your password private and for anything done under your account. One account, one person.

What "lifetime access" means

A Lifetime Access or Founding Student purchase gives you access to every course on StevenCodeCraft, including courses added later, for as long as StevenCodeCraft continues to operate. It is a one-time payment with no renewal and no expiry date on our side. It is not a guarantee that the site will operate indefinitely — if StevenCodeCraft ever shuts down, access ends with it, and you'll be given reasonable notice and the chance to download the course materials you're entitled to.

Course content changes over time

Courses are updated, re-recorded, restructured and sometimes retired as the tools they teach change. A course you have access to may not stay identical to the version you bought. Where a course is still being recorded at the time you buy it, that is stated on the offer itself, along with what is available and what is still to come.

What you may and may not do with the content

Your purchase buys you a personal, non-transferable licence to watch the videos and use the materials and source code for your own learning and your own projects — including commercial projects you build yourself.

It does not let you share your login, re-upload or redistribute the videos, resell the materials, or use them to run your own course. Sharing credentials or redistributing content are the grounds on which an account gets terminated.

Termination

An account may be suspended or terminated for sharing credentials, redistributing course content, abusing other students in the community, or attempting to compromise the site. Where a purchase is still inside the 30-day refund window and the account is terminated for a reason other than the above, it will be refunded.

Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe; card details are never handled by this site. The Refund Policy forms part of these terms — in short, a 30-day money-back guarantee on purchases, and subscriptions you can cancel at any time.

Your data

How your information is collected and who processes it is covered in the Privacy Policy.

No guarantee of results

The courses teach how to build and monetize apps. They don't guarantee that you will earn money, get a job, or have an app accepted by an app store — those depend on your own work and on decisions made by third parties.

Limitation of liability

The site and its courses are provided as they are. Every effort goes into keeping them accurate and available, but there's no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the content will fit a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, StevenCodeCraft isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses — lost profits, lost data, or lost business — arising from your use of the site or its courses. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid StevenCodeCraft in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, and none of it displaces your 30-day refund rights or any statutory consumer rights you have where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can't be settled by email goes to the state or federal courts located in California, and you agree those courts may hear it. If you're a consumer somewhere with laws that give you the right to bring a claim locally, this doesn't take that right away.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the site changes. The date below tells you when they were last revised. Changes are not applied retroactively to a purchase already made.
